We hope your employer provides you with reasonable accommodations to leave and cast your vote. If for any reason they are not willing to give you the time you need to go vote we encourage you to let your employer know that on November 3rd you will be observing Universal Day, a religious holiday, and request to be given accommodations to celebrate this special holiday. When you do get out to vote, make sure to cast your vote for the leaders and causes that most align with your personal vision for the world.

3. Write to Elected Officials

It is important to remember, your work for a better tomorrow doesn't have to end at the ballot box! We encourage you to continue celebrating Universal Day by making a call or writing a letter to your elected representatives. Do all you can to make sure they know what you think is important, and what they should be focusing on. Don't forget that it is their job to speak on your behalf. As your representative, it's their job to listen to what you have to share! Enter your zip code below to view contact information and get in touch with your representatives on this Universal Day!

4. Meditate or Pray

Gandhi in his wisdom reminded us, we must become the change we wish to see in the world. All positive progress starts at home. One very important way of celebrating Universal Day is setting aside some time to reflect and get in touch with your inner self. Whether you are focusing these positive thoughts, prayers or meditations around a higher being or nothing at all, they can help you identify what truly matters in your life. Put your mind and your body at peace, and then you will be ready to go and make some real change!

5. Help Build Community

At this time, humanity finds itself at a crossroads. Ministers of the Universal Life Church Ministries are empowered, emboldened, and energized individuals. They have the strength and insight to explore the big questions of the cosmos, and the focus to advocate locally to achieve good in the world. There is power in them individually, but joining forces they are unstoppable. To connect with them, use the links below!

This Universal Day we would also encourage you to band together, keeping safety in mind, with like-minded people in your community. Use your collective voices as a beacon to help those in need and stand up for what is right.
